It’s more fun if friends hang out together as a group! Invite other Sims to spend time with your Sim by using the “Form Group” social. Your Sim can also use the phone to “Invite Over” or “Invite Out” other Sims. There may be up to eight Sims in a group at a time.
Sims in a group will stick together when traveling to bars and other venues. Group members will follow your Sim when they travel to other locations. Look for special group interactions on certain buildings, such as the Theater, Stadium, or Day Spa.
If you want to remove a Sim from the group, direct your Sim to use the “Ask to Leave” social on the Sim you want to leave.
If you want your Sim to leave the group, use the “Quit Group” interaction to remove only that Sim. Or use “Disband Group” to end the group immediately.

High Rise living gives Sims the opportunity to live the City lifestyle in large buildings with many other Sims. You can move your Sims onto lots with High Rise buildings just like standard lots, or you can place a High Rise building lot from the Library into your current world as well.
Depending on where your Sims live, you may see other Sims front doors off the lobby or in hallways of your buildings. You won’t be able to access their private residents, but feel free to give the door a knock to meet and socialize with your fellow High Rise residents in public spaces.
Due to building codes in High Rise buildings, you cannot build or modify any structural elements like walls or windows outside of your living space. Inside of your home, you’re permitted to Build und Buy as you would on a normal lot.
When visiting Sims in other High Rise buildings, you can use the Callbox found inside the lobby to call other Sims and ask them to meet you outside of the elevator. They may even invite you up.
Sims living in High Rise buildings also have access to Trash Chutes and Wall Mailboxes. These new objects take the place of garbage cans and mailboxes found on standard lots.
High-Rise buildings must have a callbox in the lobby for visitors to contact any Sims living in the Building. When you use a callbox, you will get a selection of all the Sims living in the High-Rise building that you can call up for a visit.

Butlers are a great asset to any family that does not have time to do all the chores around the house. You can hire a Butler to help with cleaning, taking care of children, and cooking for the whole family.
To hire a Butler, pick up a phone and “Call for Services”. When you hire a Butler, they will live with your Sims, so make sure you have an extra bed for them to sleep on! You can choose a bed for the Butler by selecting a bed and setting it as the Butlers bed.
Be sure to maintain a good relationship with your butler or they may quit on you!

Your Sims now have a way to influence their friends and acquaintances to live it up at social gatherings!
When they are at bars and parties, your Sims have the “Convince To…” interaction that lets you suggest two other Sims do certain socials with each other. If you are successful, you can change relationships by bringing two Sims closer together than ever before or making them hate each other.

Vampires must care for a Thirst Need instead of Hunger. Vampires can satisfy their Thirst by consuming Plasma Pack Quick Snacks from the Fridge, eating Plasma Fruits, or Drinking from Sims with whom your Vampire Sims have a good relationship.
Vampires gain special powers at night, such as the ability to read other Sims minds (Click on Target Sim), Hunt for potential targets 8Click on the Current Lot), or the ability to Vampire Run.
Vampires can also improve their skills much more quickly during the night – it’s inhumanly fast!
Vampires should by wary of sunlight exposure. Every second spent outdoors can lead to pain and a loss of Vampire powers!
Vampires can turn other Sims into a Vampire by “Offering to Turn” them. Likewise, if your Sim hopes to become a vampire, its best to befriend a vampire in two nans “Ask to be Turned”.

Celebrities can be spotted all over town. If you encounter a Sim with a star on their name plate, then they are a Celebrity. The more stars the Sim has, the more famous they are!
But, convincing Celebrities to become friends with your Sim is not an easy task. Unlike normal Sims, Celebrities must first be impressed by your Sim before they can be friends. Some of the ways your Sim can impress Celebrities are socializing with them, buying them drinks, or even giving them a special access through the barrier ropes.
Each time your Sim successes in impressing a Celebrity, they will get Impress Points. Every time your Sim gains Impress Points, they are added to the Impress meter. Once the Impress meter fills up, your Sim has succeeded in convincing the Celebrity to acknowledge them.

The best way for a Sim to learn the Mixology Skill is to purchase a Bar from the Buy Catalog and “Practice” making drinks. Sims without a Bar to practice on can read up on the assorted Mixology Skill books, or even take an official Mixology Class down at a local restaurant. Cheers!
To increase your Sims Mixology Skill, continue practicing and making as many drinks as possible. Your Sim can even “Practice Making Drinks With…” a friend! However, at a certain point you will need to upgrade to a Professional Bar from Buy Catalog to fully unleash your Sims mixological potential!
Sims at the higher levels of the Mixology Skill are able to make different kinds of “Mood Drinks”. When served to Sims, Mood Drinks will affect the Moodlets of Sims in different ways, depending on the drink type and the drinking Sims personality. Sims at the highest levels of the skill can even name a drink after a certain Sim!
Talented Mixologists have the ability to work at bars and clubs throughout the town to increase their skill and earn some extra Simoleons. Only the best beverage mixers can tend bar at some of the high-end establishments, so make sure your Sims know what they are doing or else they will never make it past the bouncer!
